Research and Planning- Locations & Risk Assessment

Location 1)

Door- Worcester



Risk
How we will overcome this
Tripping
Will make sure all electrical hazards like wires are taped down to avoid tripping. And that people are aware of these hazards.
Door
Have to make sure its safe to film in front of door in case it’s used and people want to come in and out. Careful of getting trapped in door. Be Aware and try to warn people filming is happening.
The Public
We will get people to watch out for when members of the public come by, as we will want to pause filming and be careful of their safety.





Location 2)

Graffiti Wall- Cripple gate Park




Risk
How we will overcome this
Tripping
Will make sure all electrical hazards like wires are taped down to avoid tripping. And that people are aware of these hazards.
The Public
We will get people to watch out for when members of the public come by, as we will want to pause filming and be careful of their safety.
Filming children
As this is Illegal without permission we will make sure no children are filmed at the park. We will stop recording if child approaches.
Ice/ Wet
Make sure all areas that may be slippery aren’t walked over using ‘slippery here’ signs.
Lights
If they are used will make sure that wires are taped down and no person looks directly into them. They will be turned off when not in use!
Unstable ground
Be aware and not film here unless we need to.
Weather
Check weather before we go out in case of expected dangers.





Location 3)

Car Park- Crown Gate



Risk
How we will overcome this
Tripping
Will make sure all electrical hazards like wires are taped down to avoid tripping. And that people are aware of these hazards.
The Public
We will get people to watch out for when members of the public come by, as we will want to pause filming and be careful of their safety.
Cars
Have somebody to keep watch of cars and moving transport to avoid accidents.
Darkness
Make sure everyone can see. Possibly where high Vis jackets and torches to non filming members.
Lights
If they are used will make sure that wires are taped down and no person looks directly into them. They will be turned off when not in use!
Weather
Check weather forecast and not go out of expected bad.





Location 4)

Metal gates




Risk
How we will overcome this
Tripping
Will make sure all electrical hazards like wires are taped down to avoid tripping. And that people are aware of these hazards.
The Public
We will get people to watch out for when members of the public come by, as we will want to pause filming and be careful of their safety.
Metal sticking out
Check if any parts are dangerous. Find another location if yes or stand well away from danger.
Lights
If they are used will make sure that wires are taped down and no person looks directly into them. They will be turned off when not in use!
Weather
Check forecast before we go out and if bad weather reschedule filming.

Street

Allocate someone to look out for cars and warn us when approaching so we can move safely out the way.
